After carrying out previous excavation work at JFK school, we were asked to come back to construct footings for a timber class room. We were giving the depth of the footings which ranged from 2.2m - 3.2m deep, in order to dig to this depth, we had to seek additional insurance.  Site fencing was initially set up to prevent anyone from entering the site.  We then excavated the footing with a five tonne machine, and a six tonne dumper.  The footings where then poured using 12 ready mix trucks of concrete, vibrated to remove any air and tamped level.
