Due to Leverstock Green Football Club being promoted in the 2008/2009 season, they required a higher capacity ground, with disabled access.
Following an initial consultation with Landesigns, a quotation was drawn up based on the clubs requirements and the contract awarded to Landesigns.
The first stage of this project was to excavate to the required depth and construct the timber shuttering, next the ground was compacted with a vibrating road roller and a layer of membrane added according to the plans. The next step was to add type one (aggregate) and compact with six passes of the road roller. After this a layer of sand was added and compacted before adding two layers of steel reinforcing mesh. The final stage of this project was to pour the ready mix concrete and tamp to a level finish allowing the seating to be installed at a later date.
