This project was designed by Rosemary Coldstream Garden Design Ltd and included a sunken seating area. The sunken seating area had to be excavated to approximately half a meter and hidden drainage installed to make sure it didn’t fill up like a swimming pool!
Next to the sunken seating we had some nicely planted beds and a water blade installed to create more interest within this area all set off with some lovely remote controlled outside lighting.
We used London Stones Harvest sawn paving which unites beige with pastel colours of apricot and peach and some gentle veining. Sawn six sides and with a sawn surface, it has a warm, luxurious finish that’s versatile enough for both contemporary and traditional settings. This stone was pre-sealed before being deliver to site to keep the stone in its very best condition which we recommend for all softer and lighter paving types. We clad the walls with the same stone and finished the step with some bespoke bullnose treads.
