Project Overview
This project was an interesting one for the Landesigns team, as it centred on a corner landscape. Due to the unusual shape of the landscape, we needed to create a multi-aspect garden design, ensuring there was space for everything.
This garden design is made from a series of connected outdoor spaces, each with its own character.
Contemporary Garden Design & Colour Palette
This courtyard features a clean, modern green and white colour palette, which allows the planting to take centre stage. It is a multi-aspect design which relies primarily on hard landscaping as the foundation.
We have installed a patio, providing a tranquil outdoor seating spot where our clients can enjoy the diverse range of plants and trees. We have also installed a water feature to mask road noise and add to the relaxing atmosphere of this garden.
Planting Scheme
This unique garden layout combines both sunny and shaded side gardens, allowing us to incorporate a variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees. We have included fruit trees, flowers, and drought-tolerant planting at the front entrance for an attractive, but low-maintenance garden design that aligns with our clients’ lifestyle.
Thoughtful planting incorporated throughout this garden design encourages wildlife into the space. We also installed a bespoke lighting scheme to ensure the garden can be enjoyed in the evenings and winter.
Finished Result
This carefully designed landscape is a wonderful example of what can be achieved in even the smallest spaces. This multi-aspect garden design allows us to take advantage of every corner of the garden, creating a tranquil escape from modern life.
