Project Overview

Trinity College is part of Cambridge University, so we were very excited to be a part of this project. The site had undergone a large refurbishment, and we were contracted to lay 1600m2 of resin-bound gravel.

Trinity College Resin Bound Gravel Installation

The site had a large roundabout in the middle and had previously been laid with loose gravel. With cars turning frequently around the roundabout the gravel moved around a lot and started looking untidy.

The College wanted a gravel colour which would work against the architecture of the building and have something that would last.

Access was very difficult on this job. Our material had to be delivered into a holding yard and then sent to the site via 5-tonne lorries that just about fit into the courtyard.

Finished Result

Following our installation, Trinity College now has a seamless paved entrance that complements the historical building and makes access easier for students, staff and visitors.
